just came across this site,i went to alta vista from 79-82 5th thru 8th grade and then freshman year at cortez and then we moved away. at alta vista ,i remember mrs granville,mr westmoreland,mrs gallagher,mr perkins,miss klenke (wow) ,mr ashby (yikes!),mr cousins,and of course the mean old principal. i went to school with lon white,chuck sewell,victor solis,jon paul,will tolliver,bernard leiphart, gigi babako lived 2 houses away from me,i played freshman football at cortez in 82-83,whatever happened to craig delaney?,i have had no contact with any of these people and have often wondered about them..

Although we've had it for a while today was the first time I've had to really go over the memory book. Well done Kim! My daughter thought the Flores' were "so cute" but did tell me I looked like everybody's grandmother! Youch! LOL!
Found my old SWATCH watch in a box of HS stuff too... yes I'm a goober and went out and bought a battery and am wearing it now! LOL.
To the guy that gave it to me way back when (you know who you are), thanks!

Can I say something that has been said over and over again??? I think so.. the committee did an awesome job!! The work you all put into to the entire production was wonderful. I have friends that went to other schools in town and graduated in 1986 and they only had meet up at a bar happy hour. Needless to say, when I told them what the team put together for us all, my friends were very jealous. Thank you once again... awaiting the memory book and shirts...

Keith, let me start by saying this site is sweet!!! I am so excited to see everyone after 20 years.
Chad Barnes emailed me recently. I let him know about registering here. Hopefully he is still in contact with some of our missing members so we can get them in on the action.
I would also love to help out with things, but unfortunately I am working 60+ hours a week right now. Hopefully later this summer I can contribute in some way...

I had truck trouble today and missed the meeting and I am SOOOO sorry I did.... I have a contingency plan for the next meeting... I passed along info. to someone I work with who knows Kim Haywood (or the person who used to be known as Kim Haywood). Also, I will pass it along to Chad Bruns - I sometimes see him at the local Home Depot.
Wednesday's meeting not good here - got this Little League game to go to. Our 8 year old is one of fewer than ten 8 year olds playing in the Arrowhead Little League Minors!!!! Can't miss those games.

Dave! Are you trying to say I have a big mouth or that I'm just really fabulous? Well, I'd like to think I'm both! Raunchier than ever, too! My daughter asked to see my year books and I couldn't show her the page you signed. Infamous.
Here's my thoughts on a Reunion-Mixer. Finding a venue alone to host 250-300+ people is going to be a biotch this late in the game. Let alone the pricing will get astronomical for a formal event. I would think that a class mixer may be okay for the picnic/family deal - but the formal should be for our class of 86. My two cents. Dave - you can take me down when I see you - LOL. See, my mind is always in the gutter!

OK, I have talked to many people who wish to attend and this site is going to be great Keith. This is gonna be a total 'word of mouth' get together' and I was thinking why dont we invite classes 87,6 and 85 because they all have small class sizes and we 'hung' with a lot of them also? Anywise, I am sending this out to a massive amout of people, but WE NEED A DATE!!!! I was thinking sometime in November when it is cooler in temp? I can get the people to come we just need a date. In fact I just played cards with some guys from the 87 class and some old teachers (Kit Streeb) for one. Also, Kim Simonsguard husband Randy. Also I spoke with Angela Stahler (Terry) and she is game as well and she has spoken to Joe Gaynor in the last month and she told me Joe was gonna assist in putting one on too, but sometime after the summer heat. Makes sense! Anywise, everyone don't sweat the turnout because now that people like Tami Scheer know 'THEY WILL COME!!!!" (I miss ya Tami!)
I also have some funny news for S. Hurvitz. If anybody needs any info email me at swat22@cox.net I am just hanging out and just returned to AZ to live after 15 years in CA. I could'nt have come at a better time than to 'round the wagons'. Later on All.
